I hope this message finds you well. My name is Teresa Abad, and I am writing to you with a humble request for assistance. I am in a challenging situation, and after exhausting other options, I decided to reach out in the hope of finding some support. 

I am a solo parent working hard to provide for my son in college and elderly father and uncle, who are 88 and 70 years old, respectively. With the rising cost of living in the Philippines, living decently has become very hard for my family in the last year, not to mention the medical assistance they both regularly need.

I am currently working for a large corporation but not necessarily enough to sustain a household alone. In my ardent wish to alleviate our living conditions at the earliest possible time, I applied for a loan to consolidate my debts.  However, the company I applied for a loan turned out to be a scam as they have misled customers, including myself, to pay a minimal amount to release the loan amount.  They have given many reasons/excuses because the loan couldn’t be released due to some “errors” they claimed I made.  That it can only be “corrected” after a “fee” is collected again.  And my stupidity put me in such a huge financial mess.  I lost around U$ 10,000 to this loan scam.

My salary is not even adequate to cover our monthly expenses and with this financial setback I encountered, my debts snow-balled and interests ballooned making me fall into debt even more.  I negotiated with all my debtors but few only heeded my request to lower the interest while others have threatened to sue me for non-payment of loan.  Sir, my family can not lose me because they are all dependent on me but I can not keep myself alive with all these pressures and stress from the demands both from the family and financial obligations.  I wanted to take on additional jobs but my health is preventing me from having one due to a congenital heart condition that was recently detected.

I kindly request any financial support you can offer during this difficult time. The amount I need to avoid being sued is U$ 30,000. Any contribution would make a significant difference and help me gain financial freedom, focus on my job, and ensure decent, normal living conditions for my family again.
